Leon Millot. (Mgt. 101-14 x Goldreisling). Similar fruit quality to it's sibling, Marechal Foch, but with some important differences. The vines are even more vigorous, with smaller berries and clusters. The vine has less hardiness, being damaged below about -15oF. Millot's advantage is being able to ripen a week before Foch, so it ripens in cool climates where Foch doesn't mature well, or remains too acid. Because the clusters and small, it's necessary to train the vines to canes to get a sufficient weight of fruit.
